I have had a career spanning the business and voluntary sectors before training as a couple therapist.
After gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Marital and Psychodynamic Counselling, I worked as a Counsellor with the London Marriage Guidance Council and then worked for Relationship Counselling for London at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, where I took their Psychosexual Therapy Bridging Course.
I am a (BACP) British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Accredited Counsellor and a member of the BACP Register which is an Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) operated by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
As a founder member and Executive Committee member, I represented counsellors at the (BSCPC) British Society of Couple Psychotherapists and Counsellors until 2015. I was also a member of the Ethics committee of the BSCPC. THE BSCPC has now become the Tavistock Relationships Alumni Department, where I served on the CPD committee until 2018.
